The European Council for Automotive R&D (EUCAR) held its Annual reception and Conference on the 6th and 7th of Novembre in Autoworld, Brussels, highlighting how collaborative research and innovation through the EU’s future Horizon 2020 Framework Programme can support the achievement of societal objectives and a strong European automotive industrial sector.
An ELIBAMA booth had been organized for this event with the attendance of three project’s partners (Fraunhofer (Harald Holeczeck) ; Entégris (Gilbert Parry) and Renault (Jérôme PEYRARD)).
During the second day, the Conference panel sessions featured keynote speeches from senior research executives of EUCAR’s members – the major European automotive manufacturers – and presentations from European Commission officials, key stakeholders in automotive R&I, and coordinators of EU projects.
This was an unique opportunity for ELIBAMA to highlight the key challenge of the project and the main progress and perspectives.
