eLCAr : second stakeholder workshop in Aachen

The second eLCAr Stakeholder Workshop took place in Aachen on the 09.11.2012.

PE INTERNATIONAL attended the workshop as a representative of the ELIBAMA and ALIVE projects.

The aim of the second eLCAr Stakeholder Workshop was to present intermediate results to the stakeholders in order to get their feedback. The guideline drafts of selected chapters were available beforehand. The main chapters under discussion were goal definition, scope definition and LCI modeling for the production, use and end-of-life (EOL) phase. In addition to the drafts during the workshop the concepts for testing the guidelines were presented.

Overall, the draft guidelines presented in WS2 were still in a non-final status and subject of improvement. Thus the primary objective of the workshop was to understand how the chapters developed until now, which represent a key part of what will be the end product, can be further improved to maximize the help they can provide to LCA practitioners with their studies.
